Jackie White began her journey into the world of fitness early as she participated in competitive gymnastics and swimming during her formative years. This foundation in sports instilled in her a deep sense of discipline and commitment. Jackie pursued a few years of collegiate swimming, where she not only honed her skills in the pool but also found her husband and they have been married for almost 30 years.
After her college swimming career, Jackie’s drive to stay active continued. She explored various sports and fitness classes, from running to soccer to spin and aerobic classes and even ventured into triathlons. However, it was in 2011 that she discovered her true fitness calling – CrossFit. CrossFit became more than just a fitness regimen for Jackie; it became a way of life. She fell in love with the intensity, camaraderie, and the constant challenge it offered. What made her CrossFit journey even more special was her shared passion for fitness with her now 26-year-old son, who continues to inspire her with his youthful enthusiasm.
Jackie’s commitment to personal growth extends beyond the gym. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and a Master’s degree in
Accounting. She works full time for a defense contractor in the finance industry. Passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience, Jackie has been coaching CrossFit part-time for nearly a decade, holding a L1 coaching certification. She finds joy in helping people master gymnastic skills and
guiding them on their own fitness journeys.
What sets Jackie apart is her unwavering belief in the value of continuing to move and challenge oneself as we age. She exemplifies this philosophy daily, proving that age is just a number when it comes to pursuing one’s passion. In the world of CrossFit, Jackie stands as a testament to the power of determination, love for fitness, and the importance of finding one’s “why”.
