Emily found CrossFit by a happy accident. Upon graduating from Texas A&M in 2013, where she competed on their championship equestrian team, she desired to find a similar workout regimen to her early morning, high intensity workouts to which she was accustomed. After a Google search which led to a spiral, it landed her at the website of a CrossFit box.
After years of working out with the desire to minimize her frame, it was shocking to her that these crossfitters workout out for a different purpose. Building a strong and capable body was their goal, with a tiny bit of aesthetics, and Emily found it refreshing. So began her years-long journey of reframing her mindset and allowing herself the proper fuel to create a strong and resilient human. Now, years later, she is on the path which will allow her to maintain strength and quality of life for decades.
Emily, born and raised in Woodbine, is married to co-owner Ryan, and they have a daughter, Charlotte, and son, Andrew.
