Chris Smith is a dedicated CrossFit coach with a passion for fitness. His CrossFit journey began in 2008 amidst the scenic landscapes of Monterey, California, while serving with the Army. In 2012, Chris took a significant step by joining a local CrossFit affiliate, marking the beginning of a transformative period in his life. Eager to deepen his knowledge and expertise, he obtained his CrossFit Level One certification in 2014, and in 2020, he further elevated his coaching skills by completing his CrossFit Level Two certification. Chris’s commitment to the CrossFit community extends beyond coaching; for the past five years, he has dedicated himself to training athletes and competing at a high level. Outside the gym, Chris brings his disciplined mindset and leadership skills to his role as a senior NCO in the Maryland Army National Guard. Beyond his professional pursuits, Chris finds joy in various hobbies. He’s a food enthusiast, relishing the culinary delights that life has to offer (mostly wings). His love for family and dogs is evident in his compassionate nature, and as a devoted Buffalo Bills fan, he knows the excitement of cheering for his team through ups and downs. Go Bills!
