I’m Amanda, I’m 26 years old, I’m Brazilian, I’ve been here in the United States since May 2020, doing an exchange program. I’ve always liked sports, I spent my adolescence playing soccer, but my first contact with CrossFit was in January of this year and since then I can’t do without!!
How did you get started at Blue Crab Fitness?
I was Googled a gym near me because I was a long time without exercising and it was driving me crazy lol Thank God I found BCF and it was love at first sight!!
What is your favorite part about coming to the gym?
Going to the gym is my favorite part of the day, I feel like it's my therapy, everything gets better after training, not to mention that everyone at the gym received me very well, understand my difficulties, especially in the language and always left me the most comfortable as possible!
What is your favorite WOD?
I don't think I have a favorite WOD yet, I really like them all
What is your favorite lift?
Have no idea
Outside of Blue Crab Fitness, what are your favorite things to do?
In my free time, besides going to the gym, I like to hike, kayak or go to tourist spots.
What is your favorite cheat meal?
Pizza and beer lol

At workout time I like more upbeat songs like rock, electronic…
What is one thing you have done and/or accomplished at BCF that you never thought you would do?
Last week I did HSPU, OMG it was amazing, I thought I wouldn't be able to do it, but it was a wonderful feeling, not to mention DU, kipping pull up, or toes to bar, it really feels indescribable!!
What are your goals for this year?
Getting better with each workout, working on my disabilities and maybe participate some competition.
